Why should I participate in your main competition?

Challenge:Future is a great opportunity for you to explore your creativity by collaborating with peers. Your ideas will be evaluated by world-renowned experts and might even end up changing the future. Oh, and let’s not forget that your outstanding achievements as part of Action Teams, Chapters or top C:F members by Sparks will give you the opportunity to attend C:F Summit - a life-changing event connecting the most innovative youth, pioneering businesses, policy leaders and other change makers in dialogue, reflection and action. The winning team will also be awarded 20.000 EUR!

How can I participate?

First, make sure you read the entry details and register on this website. Then, go to the competition page to register as a competitor. After that you can create your own team, or find and join an existing team, or mark yourself as interested in the challenge, so you can be invited by others or assigned to a team.

If you don’t want to participate in the main competition, you can still register at any time and make your contribution by commenting and voting on other teams’ solutions and participate in Quick Challenges that will offer several tickets for the C:F Summit 2012.

What are the eligibility criteria?

Challenge:Future Competition is open to all youths born after February 22, 1980 and before February 23, 1993. Each team must have at least one student, currently enrolled at a higher education institution (will graduate not earlier than February 23, 2011 from any accredited university, college or other educational institution). Teams may consist of 1 to 3 members per team.

In how many teams can I participate in the main competition?

Each person can compete only in one team in the main competition.

How many members can a team have?

Teams may consist of 1 to 3 members.

Can I participate in the main competition without a team?

Yes, you can participate as a one-person team if you are a student, currently enrolled at a higher education institution (will graduate not earlier than February 23, 2011 from any accredited university, college or other educational institution).If you’re having problems finding the right team, just mark yourself as interested in the challenge, and you may be invited to a team or assigned to an open team after team formation is completed.

How much time do I have to form a team and work on the challenges?

On 23 March 2011 the team formation ends. As a registered user, you will always see a counter for the current phase of Challenge:Future in the upper right corner of the competition page. You can also find the full timeline on the How To Enter page.

Can I participate in the main competition if I’m currently not a student?
