Abstract
People who sleep on the streets, under the bridges and around the corners become a view which we see frequently and make us to be insensitive more and more. From 10 year old child to 60 year old man, people from every age choose the streets as their home by living on the sidewalks, bankmatics and metro stations.Plenty of lives are getting lost on the streets.. Common homeless shelters which are known and built before are temporary residences for homeless people which seek to protect vulnerable populations from the often devastating effects of homelessness while simultaneously reducing the environmental impact. There are also shelters which are similar to but distinguishable from various type of emergency shelters, which are typically operated for specific circumstances and populations - fleeing natural disasters or abusive social circumstances. Extreme variants of "normal" weather create problems similar to disaster management scenarios, and are handled with warming centers, which typically operate for short duration during adverse weather. However Beforus’s shelters offer much more comprehensive and wide range opportunities including all of these… - Basic needs : Bed, bathroom, kitchen... -Technology : Finger print reader ( to enter the shelter which is given to them by the responsible firm); Hologramic computer... -Socializing (facilities): Hologramic personal consultant that provide psychological aid, educational support, private care, Job opportunities( thanks to the placement of the responsible firms, they would have the chance of becoming part of society and catch a chance to have an environment),Professional semminars, Orientation, Certificate programs, Social activities. Due to the law that we foresee for 2030; these people will start working and will become a part of the society as a happy person. At the same time while providing job to the homeless people who are living in these shelters the system will finance itself. ‘Homeless are not worthless.’

Hey, I really like your video and representation of your idea. =) It provides fun by using design also helps the people. Alsoo :)) Some designers like architects (as an architecture student:)), industrial designers and so on can show their artistic styles in a very cheap way with the help of recycled materials and it creates communication between the designers and the public because good design does not reach many people. Short of it, I like your idea and your combination of fun + meaning :)) you've got my vote... Good luck!!! =)

I really like your idea. I have one question though - as big and tempting the innovation of having a holographic social assistant is, don't you think it will be better for the beneficiaries of your project to actually have real face to face contact with people. They are socially depraved, often hurt by people, and they need real human contact. In this train of thought, maybe you should invest the holographic assistant idea in something more specific - implement it in some way in educating street children for example.

Hey Denitza :) thank you for your comment :) homeless people will be in both condition, they will be taking advantage of technology in the educational and psychologycal process, they will be also in contact of people as face to face in these time and in the orientation period with the system coordinators Holograms are there to provide 7/24 help and control in a easiest and futuristic way.. Moreover they will be working with the people so they will definitely have face to face contact, so this willl make them feel more normal like others and therefor; they will experience face to face contact more in natural environments and conditions :) Maybe we should have explained it more clear in description :) Hope now it is more clear.. We will definitelty consider your beneficial comment especially the "educating street children" part :) thank you again.

being homeless is a sad thing, some become one because of their stupidity and some by being cheated by people or their fate. Good to know that you will take care of people that are lost and their psy and phy condition will be recovered if latest are into it, nice one overall

Hey Ceren, I am happy you didn't take it as a negative comment, rather than constructive. I also trully believe that homeless doesn't mean hopeless (that is why they are two different words). Wish you luck!

hey well done... :)
Every idea in this competition is meant for a noble cause..
And everyone is running blindly to get more accolades for their own idea.. We all are trying to gather and convince friends to vote for us..
But as a part of this competition, we ourselves should motivate eachother.. for a while we should keep the competition aside.. and we should look into all our felllow competitor's ideas.. and should encourage the idea they came up with for the noble cause..
Lets keep aside the competitive feelings aside.. and lets vote for all the ideas we consider worthy in our perspective...
lets encourage each other ideas.. I will vote for you as i liked your idea.. and for all other ideas as well which i liked..
Join me in this drive of voting and encouraging your those fellow competitors.. WHOSE IDEAS YOU FEEL ARE WORTHY...
If you like mine, you are cordially invited to vote for our idea too....

Noble concept! i believe you should invest some social-reintegration program for those pople in need too, since in other cases they may think that they are just used by the society who doesn't wnat to ee them and send holo-assistants instead of presonal contact.

I like it. I guess its worth to vote...
But could you tell me how you will organise it? who will be funding you (for start up)? If the answer is goverment, why do you think they still haven't done it yet? Maybe it is directly linked with the level of development of a country? If a government does not have any fund to support the idea, how it will be actualized? If one can start it up I guess the best idea is this among all.. So my vote goes for you. Thanks.
23rd July, 2011 @ 3:32 PM CEST
Thanks gizem ! I don't know if you ever worked on a project to start up a system or a company but under the government there are loads of development agencies who supports those kind of projects. Of course there is a link between the level of development of a country so thet's why we will try to work this system as global so we will be benefited from global resources as well. Moreover those kind of projects takes long years to start and requires loads of efforts and our idea requires technology as well. I think that's why it hasn't done yet. No one tried because it is a totally new system. Furthermore whe you start up a company it doesn't mean that you are going to provide the money from only one resource. That's why people work too hard to find sponsors, monetary donationts they even contact with famous and rich people to help them,so it definitely works. I believe there is nothing impossible with starting-up but there are difficulties which can be solved only with passion. We have an explanation in our description but I'm not sure if you read it or not. Thanks again if ou have any other questions I'd love to answer them all. Hope I could make it more clear for you :) Thanks again
