Title

Abstract

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The Ark of Art is a self-sufficient, sustainable and independent ship where the permanent crew members use their qualifications to create value for the people at the harbors, by solving problems on different levels. The core idea of the project is that everyone on board does what they personally love to do. Being happy with what you do, naturally generates a surplus of energy which will be used to do projects that helps people around the world as well as the planet. On the ship, there is a number of creative rooms where the crew members can unfold themselves and use all the facilities and materials for free. Additionally there are research facilities and laboratories for scientific development. When selling a piece of work, half of the profit goes to the individual, the other half to the ship. The ship and it’s permanent crew sails from harbor to harbor worldwide, so when a new destination is set, the research team starts to investigate what need or challenge is the most urgent to solve in that country. When the theme is set, everyone on board works project based and starts to generate ideas for new solutions for the challenge of the new destination and how to implement it. The revenue stream of this project will mainly come from sponsors, but also from sold art pieces, clients that hire the crew for problem solving or scientific development etc. as well as from concerts, exhibitions, workshops and lectures. We estimate there to be many interested investors and sponsors, since it is for the benefit of the world and the people. The land team, which is in close contact to the ship, prepares and invites the people and the government that are about to be visited. During the time that the ship is anchored in a harbor, anyone with curiosity can come on board and join any of the ongoing activities. Everywhere in this world there are different problems and challenges that have been calling for a solution for many, many years. In some places, the issue lies in choosing what to do with your life because of an overload of options while at other places it is an everyday struggle to find clean water and food. The Ark of Art will serve as a platform to exchange and generate knowledge and ideas for sustainable solutions and social innovation, and thereby be a living proof of how to create a caring society. It is an action based role model, that shows that cooperation is very beneficial and that it is possible to have fun while creating meaning.

Hey guys! You video is great. I like especially the quality of sound! How did you make it?? Very professional:) If you like to hear some critics, it is hard to understand how you will know who is creative and who is not. You have a risk to become UNO on the boat with kind of rebranding (where is innovation?), but still make the decisions that actually don't have appropriate application in real world. What is your defence from such a risk?

Like your video, its quality and style ;]]

Your idea is awesome, i think i saw one site where people are donating their money to build a ship intended to patrol areas and prevent illegal fishing or smt like that. It works this way: on site you see each part of the ship, how it looks like and how much it cost, then you just transfer your money for specific part of the ship and basically that's all. You can see the progress, the concept of the ship, etc....i'm talking about that because you can build your ship the same way...expept it will require a great deal of materails and investments depending on the size of your ship of course...

hey well done... :)
Every idea in this competition is meant for a noble cause..
And everyone is running blindly to get more accolades for their own idea.. We all are trying to gather and convince friends to vote for us..
But as a part of this competition, we ourselves should motivate eachother.. for a while we should keep the competition aside.. and we should look into all our felllow competitor's ideas.. and should encourage the idea they came up with for the noble cause..
Lets keep aside the competitive feelings aside.. and lets vote for all the ideas we consider worthy in our perspective...
lets encourage each other ideas.. I will vote for you as i liked your idea.. and for all other ideas as well which i liked..
Join me in this drive of voting and encouraging your those fellow competitors.. WHOSE IDEAS YOU FEEL ARE WORTHY...
If you like mine, you are cordially invited to vote for our idea too....

Great concept! Hope you will not have problems with shipping people from one country to another without green card ) If esriously, it is nice that you come with idea of mixing hi-tech innovative and futuristic initiative with ancient Bible-time archetype of Ark. Really love this symbol. Keep moving!
