Our team is made up of three individuals with a passion for social justice.
We know that society has faced the same challenges for far too long. We realize that these problems can’t be solved by using the same thinking that created them. We know that a new idea in the hands of passionate youth is a powerful force. We realize that ideas shouldn’t remain as ideas, but should be turned into reality. We believe in practical action, not empty idealism.
That's why we entered the competition, why we developed our solution 'Envest: Empowerment through Education', and why if we win the competition we'll use prize-money to help turn our ideas into reality.
We’re about ideas, not idealism. We're about outcomes, not incomes. We’re about helping up, not handing out.
Ultimately, we strive to identify unmet social needs and develop innovative, practical, and sustainable solutions to address them.

Fantastic job Team 180 Degrees!
I had a look at the other solutions, and whilst there are some good ideas there, I do think yours can achieve the greatest social impact in the most feasible and cost-effective way! I particularly like the replicable teacher training scheme... very clever :)
