Abstract

It is unfortunate to write that unemployment rate in Pakistan is increasing at a startling rate of 6% per year in the last five years. The current situation of the country, where universities, students and companies stand poles apart from each other, a unique, inspiring, and never experimented model in the country “Lock & Key – Your Job Berry” is presented, which will be a “Job House”, where students, universities and companies will be the residents enabling them bridge gap among each other via its “Online Job Berry Network” (OJBN), directly combating youth unemployment. OJBN Kitchen will be introducing “Job Berry School”, “Job Blog”, “Employment Shift”, “Interview & Job Skill Enrichment Training” for faculty & students, “Auto-CV Maker”, enabling the residents have collective progression, giving universities an opportunity to showcase best talents, put references, and organize “OJBN” events in university. For companies it will be an opportunity to get connected with institute of interest, put opportunities in the platform, hire best students, and for students it will be an opportunity to have every ingredient they need to make best Job Dish.

it's great idea... may i ask something... How is it different from the Job portals available like Naukari.com or Myjob.com etc?

@Dharmesh: Very good question. It was a great time while compiling information for making the solution - Best! There are many job portals available, why do we still fall in rising unemployment graph? Lock and Key is not only about providing job opportunities but also building "Lock and Key School" which envisions the target of reaching maximum universities across countries, training the youth regarding how the skills should be polished, under supervision of leading trainers and entrepreneur in the country and also outside country. Moreover, it aims to connect students, institutes and universities on a platform and help them share resources among each other. So it has got a lot of phases on which we have to work. Not only an ordinary job portal (for which you can help yourself by searching on Google). This is meant specifically for bridging the gap among three (students, institutes and companies) as this is way we can combat unemployment.

Hi team! What I more like about your idea is that is feasible. I like the way you guys evaluated and perceived the problem, your search deep and get to the bottom of it. Communication is definitely a very important part to find a job, so building a comunicational project is very opportune! Good luck!
