Mr. holder is an enthusiastic and passionate young man when it comes to the development and enhancement of young individuals who he may come in contact with. On completion of his secondary education , Mr. Holder left a distinguished reputation of academic excellence, graduating with 6 cxc subjects as well as 8 cape subjects. As a student Kevin has always recognised that education should ehance and develop all the innate skills, talents and abilities of every individual.Due to his outstanding performance at secondary school, Mr. Holder is going full fledge ahead in becoming the Youngest Prime Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. While he is currently pursing a bachelor of Science in Political Science and Sociology.
His passion and love for the development of youth skills, ideas, and talents all began when he had just begun secondary school education. This drive to see the development of youth programs was one of his main focus as a student. Thus, kevin invovlement in many programs geared towards the development and training of youths in Trinidad and Tobago. These programmes included the Royal Bank Young Leaders debate. Through this avenue, he was able to develop critical and logical thinking skills, which further advanced his skills and knowledge in that area. As a young, aspiring individual Mr. holder further went on to enhance his ability as a young individual, by attending a self-discovering worshop held by Families In Action Organisation. Through this program he was awarded a scholarship to attend the Institute of Broadcasting Careers of Trinidad and Tobago where Mr. Holder pursued a course in Public Speaking. This year has witness Mr. Holder achievement in in Youth academic achievement award from Mykeetv from USA Los Angeles, California has further increased drive for Youth development projects

However, as a young person his main focus was not just about his academic accomplishment but rather his involvement in programs that assisted in community building and projects in his territory as a whole. Hence, Kevin introduction to OM Ship International Program where he did voluntary work for a period of one month aboard the Logos II Book Ship. As Mr.Holder developed into the young person he is today, he always wanted to assist in environmental awareness, thus the Unesco forum at his Secondary School at the time, allowed him the opportunity to expand his borders on the issue, which he did. During Mr. Holder teenager years he acquired this passion for the development and art form of music in his everyday life. This passion, however , grew daily thus leading him to learn and study different genres of music. Kevin became an active member in his school’s music band and church choir as well as a musician at the church he attend presently. As an adult and a student of the University of the West Indies, this Tertiary institution has enabled Mr.Holder to spread his wings and to develop a forum for Caribbean Culture , Science, Politics, Social Services, Sport and much more. With the help of Kevin, Monique, Charisa, Alexander, Lou-ann and him (the President) were able to develop and enhance the Caribbean Civilization Club at the University. The purpose of the (C.C.C) is to provide a forum for critical thinking of the Caribbean and to discuss ideas and issues that affect Caribbean life and living. The aim of the club is to provide enlightenment of the Caribbean society to its members and also to provide them with encouragement to enjoy and affect their society. The club has also been able to develop a webpage, a group for discussion about issues affecting our region. Through all our programs we are seeking to publish our first magazine.

There is a great need for youth to develop strategies to deal with unemployment in our country and the region” Kevin says. “One of the ways we as individuals can do this is to have collaborative programs between schools and businesses, to develop entrepreneurial skills that are geared towards the area of studies of individuals such as Humanities, Sciences, Social Sciences and Modern Studies. This in turn would provide the individual with the experience and expertise required. We as a region need to stop focusing on exams since the world of work is not based on exams but rather analysis, projects and formulating policies to better deal with our problems”.

For him God has always been a pillar upon which he has been able to accomplish all his successes . “ Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Mathew 17:20. Kevin tends to see this quote as a powerful mechanism for achieving success in a persons life time. “ Your past experiences does not determine your future success, However, a vision, strong determination and Perseverance is the road towards achieving your dreams.
