I am from San Cristobal, a southern province in Dominican Republic. I did an undergrad on Agricultural Engineering at EARTH University in Costa Rica, Class of 2010, winning in conjunction of 2 classmates, a 10.000 dollars prize given by EARTH university and the Sustainability Labs. In 2009, I developed an internship at University of Florida, in the Department of Agriculture and Biological Engineering. In 2009-2010 I served as Youth Advisory Board member of Challenge:Future. In 2010 was selected among the Caribbean Climate Champions with Climate Generation Program of the British Council, and won a 1500 dollars prize to develop a project on sustainable urban agriculture.
In 2011, I worked as Freelancer at Society for Ecological Education and Development (www.seedcostarica.com) in Costa Rica, and later as Project Coordinator at Instituto Especializado de Estudios Superiores Loyola (IEESL) in San Cristobal, Dom. Rep.
Thanks to a scholarship from the German Ministry of Education and Research through the IPSWAT program, from 2011 to 2013 I am enrolled in a MSc. program called: WASTE: Air Quality Control, Solid Waste and Waste Water Process Engineering at the University of Stuttgart in Germany.
My interests are in the area of environment and sustainability,specially in the concepts developed by Richard Buckminster Fuller to make the world work for 100% of humanity (bfi.org).
I love travelling, learning about cultures and meeting new people.

Volunteerism is a powerful means of engaging people in tackling development challenges, and it can transform the pace and nature of development. The United Nations in Bonn consists of approximately 20 separate entities with a personnel complement of close to 1000.
