Today, we'd like introduce Jana Toskovic, one of our Youth Advisors and one of the spark winners from last week.
Jana loved the idea of Challenge:Future from the very first moment. She commented: "I think that Challenge:Future is a fantastic way of channeling creative energy of young people around the world, using the information technology, in order to help the youth, companies and the humanity achieve sustainable development."
So, who is Jana?
Jana comes from Montenegro, a small country in the Balkans. She graduated as one of the best students in her generation and is currently a MSc student at Faculty of Economics Podgorica, University of Montenegro. She co-founded a student magazine "Projectis" for which she was a columnist for a certain period of time. One of the things she is most proud of is being an active volunteer at NGO Association of Youth With Disabilities of Montenegro.
Jana is known for her unique writing desk because... She doesn't have one! Instead of a real DESK she does all of her work on the floor! She says: "Sitting on a chair and writing at the desk for hours... It's just so boring! I need space to move, stretch my back, let creative energy flow, have my books and laptop all around me, have different color highlighters handy and take a rest without leaving the working area! Writing desk can't give you all of that!"
She's also an avid fan of Roger Federer! In order to show her affection for Federer's playing style, Jana used his game perfection in her bachelor thesis defense as an example of how a company can endorse a sports player to uniquely communicate its promotional message!
