Dear C:F community members, friends and followers,
February 2016 brings new leadership changes within the Challenge:Future
We are now embarking on a new journey with the Challenge:Future! We announce that the old board of Challenge:Future as of February 2016 is stepping down with its functions, and opens the space for a reformation in Challenge:Future in terms of its leadership structures, and for the further actions and developments within the community.
We are very excited to embrace this change, which enables the Challenge:Future to be guided by a new youth-lead team who will act as the management board in 2016 and onwards. Further on, Challenge:Future will renew its governance body, the Steering Committee.
Today, we are more than happy to announce this new board! Let's whole-heartedly welcome and celebrate the rise of the first fully C:F youth comprised team:
Stefan Alijevikj (Macedonia) - President of Challenge:Future board
Chourouk Haisni (Morocco) - Vice President of Communcications and Media
Tilen Kodrin (Slovenia) - Vice President of Creative Contents & Ideas
M. Ibnur Rashad (Singapore) - Vice President of Ecosystem Growth
Udoka Chiefe (Nigeria) - Vice President of Innovation & Technology
The new board agreed to take the lead on their first meeting held on 22.02.2016. The board have all the power to craft the new path of Challenge:Future. This body is the designer of the next cycle of Challenge:Future - think-tank, an inspiring community of young minds, innovators and talents, an independent entity, consciousness and awareness of pressing world problems.
On the other hand, the Steering Committee will act as the advisory body, which will help, advice and connect when the new vision and concrete projects are developed from the side of the new board. This makes officially the stage of "C:F Gensis". Until the end of this week, we will announce also the Steering Committee members.
Now, it's time to celebrate and send our big hugs and kudos to our brand new team!!!
