The last days of 2014 are soon to pass. This brings mixed emotions to some of us; to others it gives a sense of joy, and to some the feeling of sorrow. As it is the perfect timing, let's take the moment to reflect:
You have made the list of New Year resolutions for 2014 exactly a year ago... How far down the list you have gone? Some of you may have even not made it as you prefer the "get things done" approach and not keeping the things listed. In that case, how much did you get done? Maybe some of you are among the ones who decided to be carefree and worry less this past year while actively observing things taking place on their own. Well, how was the observation?
In the time of reflection, you can ponder your thoughts and impressions and see what went wrong and what went right. You sort out the greatest LESSONS LEARNT over this year. After all, the world keeps changing; it keeps going and turning around. You have started the year with some familiar faces, some are gone and some are still here. You have started your year with some dreams, goals and aspirations. Some of them are alive now, and some remained a dream. How did our decisions affect us, our families, our friends, our neighbors, our country, our environment?
2015 is around the corner and the clock assigned to it is ticking. It is time for us to decide what luggage of 2014 we will carry to 2015 and what we will leave behind.
