by C:F Team on 11th December, 2012 at 5:49 PM CEST

Team Creation Deadline for C:F Competitions 2013 has been Monday, 18 February 2013.

Hi there! We know there is a lot of information and sometimes it's hard to get hands-on all things. So, we strechted our thinking and prepared a few short steps to get you going. It's easy and fast! Read below.

1. What 3 New Competitions?

We have just launched Challenge:Future Competitions 2013!

1st Competition: The Future of Work Create a strategy for companies and win a paid internship in AT Kearney office in Slovenia or Poland.

2nd Competition: Make.it.Work How can YOUth fight youth unemployment? Answer it and get the EUR 3.000 Award.

3rd Competition: My Dream Job Imagine your dream job, dream company and education in 2022! Be in the spotlight at C:F Summit 2013.

Plus, competing in any of the three competitions might get you one of the 70 scholarships to attend C:F Summit 2013 in Slovenia, Europe!

2. Which competition should I go for?

Well first check out all three competitions and see which one you like most, what you need to do and which are the awards!

You know what’s the good part? You can compete in one, two or all three competitions. All you have to do is create or join a team in each competition. You can be part of different teams in each competition but you can be in only one team per competition. More info? Check Eligibility.

3. How to compete?

To compete, first you have to create an account. Already have an account? Make sure you have your gender, country and birth date filled in! All you need to do now is create or join a team before 18 February 2013.

4. How to create a team?

It’s easy, make sure you have a valid account and filled in your country, gender and birth date info.

Next step, go on the competition of your choice and click on “Create your own team” button on the right-hand side. Important! To compete, you need to create your team before 18 February 2013. The earlier, the better!

5. Join a team

Don’t want to create your own team but still want to compete? Good enough!

Join an existing team. Look for already created teams open for members and join them. Team creator will have to approve your request before joining the team.

Tag yourself as interested. Team creators will look for suitable team members. So mark yourself as interested. It says: “Pick me, pick me!”

6. Ok. I’m in a team. Now what?

You have a team? Cool! Now you can add your team picture and team description. How to access your team profile? Easy as well. Hover your mouse over your username on the top right corner and click on your team’s name.

Do you know you also have a project room? It’s where you can collaborate with your team members on your idea, check out challenge resources and plenty of other fun stuff to do. How to get to your project room?  On your team profile, click on "Enter project room".

7. What do I have to do for 1st Round?

Each of the three competitions has its own guidelines for 1st Round Submissions. They are visible on the right-hand side on each competition page or in your project room. Plus, make sure to read in detail all info about the competition in your project room.

Note: Once you created your team, you can already start working on your 1st Round solution. The sooner, the better.

Important! You will be able to submit your team’s solution between 18 Feb and 27 Feb, 2013. Only the team creator is able to submit via Project Room.

8. Important Dates:

18 February 2013 – Deadline to Create or Join a Team. If you are not part of a team until this date, you will not be able to compete. Make sure you create your team now! How? Check out Question No. 4 above.

Sire Dan:

I would like to be enlightened with the following concerns:

1. Can I pick a team member who are not studying on the same school/institution that I am in? Or would it be alright if all of us in the team comes from the same school/institution?

2. Can we take any of our faculty members or anyone in the community that we deemed best to be our mentor other than those who applied with C;F as mentor/or the ones available already in your site?

I hope you can answer me, asap. Thank you.

Hi, after closing team . can any member can become mentor for team?

Andreja Kodrin (C:F Management) | Action team | CF Chapters

Hi Denver, anyone who is between 18-30 years old could be your team member. It is not necessary even to be a student.

Regarding mentor - yes, you can invite from your faculty members, we will just open him/her a mentor profile and access to your project room. Please send information for mentor registration (full name, institution, country, e-mail address) to info@challengefuture.org

@Hitesh - you can add mentor at any time. If that will not be possible from your team's project room please just send a request to our administrator at info@challengefuture.org

best

@Denver: Regarding members and mentors, please check Andreja's answer above.
@Hitesh: A team member cannot be mentor at the same time. If any team member would like to become a mentor, he/she would have to give up membership in the team.

Where I have to submit my presentation?

Dan Croitoru

Dan Croitoru

@Rahmat: In order to add your friends they need to have an active C:F account (Q no. 3 above). Afterwards they can select "Apply for membership" on your team's page or you can add them yourself if they tagged themselves as "Interested"

RE: mentor. On your team page you have "Mentorship requests". You can browse through existing mentors and invite one. Or pick another mentor from your school/organization and we'll register him/her with C:F. Just drop us a message.

You can submit your presentation between 18 and 27 February in your team's Project Room. Good luck!
