Changing Challenges

by Dharmesh Bhadja on 20th April, 2012 at 8:40 AM CEST

The world is full of challenges. Global or local, related to community, culture or country, there are so many things to be considered as first priority to solve as soon as possible. Climate changes, inaccessibility of primary health care, non-viable economy and growth, unemployment, human trafficking, disparaging population, illiteracy, cultural diversity, increasing carbon foot prints, scarcity of natural energy sources and terrorism etc. The world is burdened with serious weaknesses and imbalances.

Challenge future ignited my journey of exploring challenges of the globe before around two years. From ‘Eating the carrot’ to ‘21st century disaster’ it was like deeper the engagement and better the learning.

Eco Fonts (the first tip of the week) became big hallmark of awareness. I had turned of water misuse after ‘Lila says flush less’, Keep the water for future, or Change the way you use the water .

Woman of the world shook me thoroughly. I still remember thought provoking articles like: ‘are you 99% , Low carbon living, Weapons of mass destruction, Youth for youth or Delivering happiness . Or inspiring articles like: How leaders implement change, Walking and health, I see C:F here and there,  Express yourself, Sustainable from the roots, Simple n’ smart, and Be original say thanks

When I have started my journey, it was my passion to work for good cause, my  will to contribute something for better future of the globe, to help the underprivileged, to solve the global health problems and encourage others for the same. Now, it is challenging me.

Love is to act. Without action, there is no love.

Before I raise or discuss any issue, one corner of my heart used to rebound loudly what you are doing for this question? What is your action? On one side is extra profit and on the other side honest trading. One side my low coasting business plans and other side my will refuse to increase pollution by using plastics. One side, my friend is doing wrong and other side I need to feel that I am not alone. To say, to share and to speak up is not all, to do is important. At the one point of time I have started working with C:F to save the planet. But now is it question about saving me?

It is not easy. Even many a time, no one can see or understand my ‘cheating’. Sacrifices start from the self, within heart. If I won this challenge, the rest is not difficult to defeat. My friends are not comfortable. My family sometimes disagree my thinking and actions. In front of authority, it is very difficult to follow these things.

Challenge lies within. And now the only challenge is ‘expressing the self completely and honestly’. “And obviously, from our own personal point of view, the principal challenge is a personal challenge.” - Richard Branson

Life is a challenge itself and we must surely go through challenges because we are living.
But it all depends on how you see the challenge and the way you act towards it.
