Decrease the Electromagnetic Waves!

by Damla Aktan on 5th July, 2011 at 1:22 AM CEST

Everything around us started to spread electromagnetic waves from cellphones to computers. However, as the technology is improving day by day, the humanity is trapped by the dualism of both using the new technology and not being under threat of electromagnetic radiation.

Based upon my research on this, I figured out that this is not that much impossible if we remember following up some small tips in our daily lives.

For instance, if you have trouble sleeping, and perhaps are sensitive to EM fields, try turning off the electrical power in your bedroom area when you go to sleep.

Also, while you are working in your Office, studying in your room, haven’t you ever felt that you suddenly have a headache? Did you know that this is basically because of the fluorescent lights? In order to decrease this negative effect, set up a full spectrum bulb shining on you, if possible, so balance the light rays. Full spectrum fluorescent tubes are also available and are better, if you can install them in your work area.

You are also under threat while you are driving! Some cars give off large electromagnetic fields, particularly near the motor. The only way to check is with an EMF meter.

Try grounding or earthing yourself to purify yourself. A company sells grounding pads for your bed and your office area. Check under the heading of ‘Earthing’ on Google or other search engines. Sites include Earthing.

Go to bed early and stay well nourished. A lot of the sensitivity people feel in regards to EM fields is caused by fatigue, malnourishment, dehydration and other aspects of poor health.

Be careful with calling on electromagnetic devices. Lower the amount of time you are on your cell phone. Use your speakerphone. If you must hold your phone, then make sure that the keyboard faces your head. Try and carry your phone off your body and look for the SAR value when you purchase a phone.

Use chips on your cell phones, computers, household electronics and wireless devices which eliminate extremely low frequency radiation. Do not buy a house next to a hydro field, hydro transfer station, or satellite tower. Do not use an electric blanket. Do not sleep with any electronics (such as a clock radio) near the head of your bed.

Finally, be careful and use natural plants to decrease the electromagnetic radiations of the computers. Having small cactuses near to your desk close to your computer is a good way to isolate the negative energies and electromagnetic waves.

Feel healthy and live healthy…Wish you days full of smiles :)

Very interesting topic indeed, but I think it needs to be treated in context and technical detail.

1. There as been very little scientific evidence that exposure to EM radiation causes any annoyance/harm to a human body.

2. We also have to remember, that as long as we are in an area where our cellphone, TVs or radios work (regardless if you carry a phone with your OR NOT), we are being 'exposed' to EM radiation. That's a much larger dose than all these devices around the house. If we do want to stop EM exposure, then we should stop that first.

3. Electrical grounding in fact only helps to improve EM coupling and will allow your body to 'absorb' more energy from these EM fields, and this will flow through your body into the ground as a electric current.

4. Full spectrum lamps, don't reduce EM fields, but change the frequency content of the light to something more similar to te Sun. I doubt it decreases any EM exposure, but it has been showed to help people with Circadian rhythm sleep disorders, especially in countries where it gets really dark in the winter.

5. As for low frequency EM radiation, cellphones and most other radio based equipment use significantly high frequency signals, and generally most accidental leakage is also pretty high in frequency.

Finally, many of the suggestions above are also a great way to save electricity, and should definitely be used if possible.

And more importantly, if doing one of these things makes you feel better, then go ahead and do it. Just that scientifically many of the claims have not been proves. :)

Although no proves yet according to Chinmay, I will use natural plants. Thanks for this great contribution and awareness.

I didn't realized that so many electromagnetic waves are around us.
I'll pay more attention from now on. Lot of smile sunny days to you too Damla :))

agree with Chinmay :)
There was a research team at my university that was exploring precisely the effect of cell phones and basically found nothing, and I remember a fun presentation that exposed quite some research mistakes in the articles claiming how baaaad cel phones are. Of course, if there's a huge antenna right above your rooftop it will probably affect you in some way, I don't doubt that. But our bodies are good at adapting.
Now, just not being surrounded by so much electronics definitely helps our sleep - take that from someone who sometimes falls asleep with the laptop - I never get good sleep like that...
So it's all quite subjective of course. Just go into the nature more and you'l be fine :)))

You did amazing job. thx for making conscious about this "Feilds".. :)
thx for d article dear .. even website u shared is also seems interesting..

Chinmay u added wonderful points ... thx for shairng..

- Keep ur mobile on left side while talking.. use left ear.. if u talk using right side then it may create cancer .. (try to use headphones)..

- Never pick up d phone / talk when u r fueling station, it may create explosion ..
