StormIt Challenge: Give me three days of Green sLOVEnia

On Monday, March 15th, Challenge:Future and the Slovenia Tourism Organization will launch a exciting new StormIt challenge entitled:
Here is an exclusive preview of the challenge:
The Slovenian Tourism Board and Bank of Tourism Potentials in Slovenia invite you to design your own memorable trip in Slovenia and win up to 3000 EUR to make your dream trip come true.
GREEN sLOVEnia trip design specifications
- The trip should be designed with the principles of responsible travel and ecotourism in mind. This means you are encouraged to make your trip as environmentally friendly as possible by focusing on green outdoor activities, sustainable transport options, eating local produce and using traveler providers that help protect culture and environment.
- The proposed trip should be 3 days (2 nights) long and planned for 2 people to explore Slovenia.
- The entire trip should cost no more than 500 EUR per person excluding the travel expense to and from Slovenia.
- Include at least two Slovene regions with geographical contrast (see Regions & Towns at www.slovenia.info)
- Include one suggestion found in Bank of Tourism Potentials in Slovenia.
- Please submit your plan on two pages in a Word document (max. 5000 characters) for the judges to evaluate, and present your idea on a poster (photo format - jpg, png) to be displayed on our platform for community voting.
Eligibility and awards
- All C:F members between ages 18 and 30 can participate in the challenge.
- The winner of this contest will receive:
- a trip around Slovenia for 2 persons according to the winning proposal,
- all proposed expenses paid up to 500 EUR per person,
- costs of transfer to and from Slovenia will be refunded in amount of up to 1000 EUR per person,
- the winner is also invited to blog about the journey in Slovenia and publish it on the C:F platform ('member stories').
- The 10 best trip suggestions with the most votes will get a "I FEEL sLOVEnia" wind jacket.
- All trip proposal abstracts will be published at the Bank of Tourism Potentials in Slovenia portal, where tourist agencies will be able to contact authors for details to cooperate in realizing even more "GREEN sLOVEnia trips"

@Mark: Poster information will be described in Monday's full details and yes, journey starts from the Airport.
@Saad: The challenge is also in the short time - many tourists from neighbouring countries would visit us only for a weekend or while traveling through to their final destinations. That's why we are looking for short, attractive solutions that will show that already in three days time Slovenia can offer many affordable, reachable and joyful activities.

@STB you see for someone coming from asia..it will be hectic to trave for almost 24 hours come to slovenia spend 3 days and go back travelling 24 hours and then you will have to spend lots of money for his or ticket too. if you are talking about the neighboring countries thats because their travel time is only 5 to 6 hours at max i assume. anyway was just a suggestion im sure you guys would have planned it well :) good luck

and the 24 hours even account for plane travel only..if he or she makes a very green transportation route it would take him or her days to reach

Challenge's main purpose is to help us find new, exciting, short tour combinations interesting for younger people. There is no problem if the winner will prolong her stay in our country: The dates of the flight ticket need not to be at the beginning and at the end of GREEN sLOVEnia trip. The official (and refunded) trip should meet our design specifications, the rest is up to your time and your resources ;)

can you explain which information should be presented on poster?
regarding the costs - as flight costs are excluded do we need to start to calculate them from Airport further or you can start your trip anywhere?
