Semi-final voting ends:
As of 5:00pm March 8, the voting phase for semi-finalists is officially over. Thanks everyone for your votes and support during the voting phase. During the voting period, our semi-finalists solutions received 9953 votes in total! We have also welcomed almost 5000 new members! If you're new to C:F, don't miss this brief overview about how you can still show support for your school and participate in various challenges.

Challenge:Future finalist teams will be announced on Friday, March 12 at 5:00pm CET. At the same time, we will also announce the spark winner of this year's competition and the winners of our "Predict the finalists" - win a C:F t-shirt contest. Which team deserves the grand prize of 20,000EUR?
From March 15 at 5:00pm CET, you will be able for vote for one team out of nine finalists teams that you believe deserves the grand prize of 20,000EUR. This final voting period ends on April 15 at 5:00pm.

Concerning voting system.
Not the greatest ideas win, but those which are "sponsored" by many friends, colleagues. In my opinion, these people even do not get close to the idea, understand what it is all about, just mechanically click the blue button. Quite unreliable system. Those 20% should be decreased at least by 10%. On other hand, it helped to attract more people to this project. But...
I hope judges will take this into account. Somehow it reminds me about Eurovision contest :)

Well, no public voting is perfect (not even elections) and that is why we also have a lot of different judges reviewing the solutions as well - unlike at the Eurovision contest :) We can assure you that the judges take the time to carefully evaluate all solutions, so I think that at the end the best solutions will make it to the finals. But at the same time I also think it's fair to give the public some influence over the results and see which solutions can get the most support.

Yay, can't wait to see which teams will make it to the finals! :) Big congrats to all the teams that made it so far, it's a pity we only have 9 spots for the finals.
