Rapiture Muscle Builder You can then begin using heavier weights and doing less repetitions to increase muscle size. Make room in your regimen for plyometric exercises. These sorts of exercises will help you enhance your fast twitch muscles, stimulating greater muscle development. Plyometrics are like ballistic moves in that they require some acceleration. For example, during plyometric push-ups, you would pull your hands off the floor and lift your body as high as possible. Be smart about when and how you work out to optimize muscle growth and minimize injury. If you are working on your muscles for the first time, only do strenuous workouts two times a week. Those that have more experience and have already been conditioning their muscles can safely work out this way three times in a week. Squats, presses and dead lifts are all effective exercises for increasing muscle mass. Focusing on these three types of exercises helps build muscle mass fast. You can add more exercises to your workout regimen, but those three exercises should make up the core of it. Make sure you are eating food that supports your workout schedule. You need to increase protein and carbohydrates while reducing your fat intake. This doesn't mean that you need to consume more food; this means that you need to have a balanced diet. Consider using a protein supplement and taking vitamins for faster muscle growth. Carefully choose which moves you concentrate on since some are risky with excess weight. It is quite possible to sustain an injury by doing neck movements, split squats and dips, as they can place joints in precarious positions. Instead, use heavier weights primarily for exercises such as rows, presses, deadlifts and squats.
