To COMPETE:
1. Register as a member and fill out your profile at the Challenge:Future online platform at any time before February 18, 2013 at 14:00 CET.
2. Register as a competitor between December 04, 2012, 14:00 CET and February 18, 2013 at 14:00 CET.
3. Join or create a team:
- You can only be in one team for each of the three competitions. So max 3 teams!
- Create a team and you can invite other members from your school, youth organization, or anyone worldwide to join you.
- Tag yourself as interested so that other teams can invite you to join them.
- Invite a mentor from the available mentor list to help you with your idea, or invite somebody not yet engaged to register as a Challenge:Future mentor (see Eligibility above).
- The teams have to be formed by February 18, 2013 at 14:00 CET; No changes to the teams will be allowed after that date.
- All registered members of Challenge:Future community who do not belong to any team by February 18, 2013 will have a chance to participate in a number of activities, including voting, quick challenges, discussions, provide feedback to other’ solutions, join action teams and local Challenge:Future chapters.
4. Fill out the team’s profile, collaborate in the project room and start developing your submission!
5. Browse through competitions full briefs, entry details, and resources, and let your imagination fly free.
6. From February 18, 2013 at 16:00 CET untill February 27, 2013 at 14:00 CET, you will be able to submit your entry in the First Round of the competition! Please note that only the team creator can submit.
7. When idea is submitted, the community can post comments and, if you wish, you can revise your idea upon the received comments until the voting starts. In other words, you have time between February 18, 2013 16:00 CET and February 27, 2013 18:00 CET to submit, revise, and re-submit your final idea. You can mark the comments as helpful – that means that both you and the one who gave you the helpful comment gain additional sparks.
8. On March 1, 2013 at 14:00 CET the voting starts: you can vote for ideas of other teams, check your votes, and enjoy reading the comments. You and your team mates will not be able to vote for your own idea. The voting ends on March 13, 2013 at 14:00 CET.
9. On March 20, 2011 at 14:00 CET, the semi-finalists are announced. Top 10 teams by community votes in each competition AND teams receiving the total score of 60 and higher (out of 100 possible) by expert judges will advance to the semi-finals.
10. On March 21, 2013 at 14:00 CET, detailed submission requirements and judging criteria for the Semi-finals are announced. You can start working on semi-finals submission!
11. From April 3, 2013 at 16:00 CET untill April 24, 2013 at 14:00 CET you will be able to submit your entry for the Semi-finals stage of the competitions.
12. From April 26, 2013 14:00 CET to May 13, 2013 14:00 CET, the community voting and judges evaluation of the semi-final submissions are taking place.
13. On May 20, 2013 at 14:00 CET the Finalists are announced. Top Three Teams in each competition will advance to the next stage. The Community Choice Winner (team with most votes) will be announced.
14. The Finalists will make their final presentations live at the Challenge:Future Summit 2013 on September 25, 2013. The Winner in each competition will be announced on September 26, 2013 at the C:F Summit Gala 2013.
